For each of these services, I provide an itemized grocery and equipment list and you purchase the ingredients in advance. Or, if you'd prefer, I can do the shopping for you.
All of these services are billed at $40.00/hour (plus the cost of food/related materials). In most cases, I can bring the necessary cookware, pans, knives or other needed tools.
Cooking Instruction

If you are interested in getting personalized, hands-on instruction of cooking techniques and recipes this is the perfect way to go. You can choose specific recipes or techniques you've always wanted to learn, or just have me come to your home to walk you through the recipes. You will see that your kitchen can indeed create tasty and wonderful food!
Meal Preparation
I'll work with you to plan a menu and then come to your home and create a meal or food for a specific event, party or get together.
Another option you can choose is having me create dishes and meals to stock your freezer. With this option, you get more than just one serving or dinner entree. You can select from various dishes you are interested in and I will stock your fridge and freezer with tasty meals that are ready in a flash. It's the perfect way to ensure a busy weeknight dinner is just as delicious no matter how little time you have to get dinner on the table!

Holiday Party/Planning
The holidays can be a stressful time, with a myriad of parties, events and social gatherings. I can put the fun back into the season by helping with everything from simply planning your holiday menu, actually helping you prepare the food (there are so many things you can make ahead!) or taking you from start to finish with holiday party planning and catering. The key to fast and delicious recipes is having what you need ready and waiting for you. I can show you what the key pantry staples are and help set up your pantry to make it work for you. With just a handful of key ingredients and an understanding of the power of a well stocked pantry you be ready to throw together amazing recipes at the drop of a hat.
Gardening
One of my favorite things about summer is being able to go to my garden and pick fresh herbs for my recipes. Let me make an herb garden a reality for you. I will provide you with the proposal and cost breakout to customize the project, until you are happy with the plan.
The overall cost will vary depending on the number of herbs you want in your planter(s) as well as the size of garden you are looking for. If you have a dollar amount you want to stick with, or aren't as particular about which herbs you want to grow, I can work with that too! Contact me to get a breakdown of the herbs you might want to consider, as well as some things you should consider while having me design your project.
